THE ROLE_
To support the Finance Director with commercial aspects of the business. Supporting with the budgeting process and business partnering with business units in the UK.
A DAY IN THE LIFE_
Your activities will vary daily in a buzzing and welcoming office. As a FP&A Manager, your role will be dynamic and require a blend of business acumen and collaboration with different departments. You will be involved with all forecasting aspects of the business and work closely with the FD and other members of the UK finance team. A key part of the role will be revenue forecasting, client analysis and cashflow forecasting.
A large proportion of our work revolves around excel so you will need to be very proficient with this. You will need accurate and acute attention to detail and have strong numeracy & analytical skills.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR_
- Qualified Accountant ACA
- Extensive experience of budgeting and forecasting revenue generating parts of a business
- Advanced excel and modelling skills
- Advanced NetSuite’s experience preferred but experience embedding a new accounting tool sufficient
- Experience in a media or consumer services environment would be advantageous
- Experience of working with private equity backed companies would be desirable (but not essential)
- Ability and willingness to get their sleeves rolled up and get into the detail
- Excellent technical skills
- Willing to challenge the status quo
- Articulate and able to communicate issues and concerns clearly and concisely
- Thorough understanding of commercial and business principles
- Honesty, integrity, and reliability
- Highly organised with a high attention to detail
- Research and analytical skills
- Understanding of data privacy standards
