THE ROLE_

The Chief Commercial Officer, UK will be accountable for driving Talon’s ambitious business plans forward from a commercial, investment and performance point of view. Working closely with a high-performance team, this role will be empowered to manage, evolve and progress Talon’s overarching commercial strategy and operational framework as we strive to future proof the business and create outstanding value for our clients and partners.

The role is tasked with evolving existing commercial models, developing new revenue streams, and identifying sustainable solutions for the future.

As part of this vision, this role will be accountable for all aspects of trading, investment and commercial operations across the UK business. Reporting into the UK Managing Director this role will work in closely with the Head of Accountability, Head of Investment and the Head of Commercial (as direct reports) to drive the business forward.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Creating and evolving Talon’s commercial strategies to protect, develop, and grow media income, with a focus on minimising legacy trading models and progressing to future proofing frameworks.
  • Developing a multi-year diversification plan to leverage value for our agencies and client as well as address commercial targets internally.
  • Identifying and analysing key commercial projects that can deliver high margin growth and support sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Developing, testing, and implementing new investment / performance practices that drive an incremental benefit for our partners, clients, and Talon.
  • Leveraging Talon’s proprietary technology stack to drive industry lead efficiencies and outstanding commercial value for our clients, partners and Talon.
  • Leading all UK partnership relations with key media owner partners.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR_

  • Media experience with focus on OOH / Commercial desirable
  • Understanding of the functions involved in the planning and purchase of OOH
  • Key commercial / trading experience (buyer or seller)
  • Ability to build relationships at different levels both internally and externally
  • Ability to create and influence positive solutions across the business
