THE ROLE_

We are seeking a motivational individual to join our team as a supervisor in the client services department at Talon Outdoor. As a supervisor, you will play a crucial role in leading the planning team and developing the execution of strategic media planning. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual looking to lead through actions and ideas that exemplify the company’s mission and culture. This role requires written and verbal communication in both French and English, with co-workers, clients and media partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATIONSHIPS_ 

  • Oversee all aspects of client relationships to ensure expectations are met and exceeded
  • Provide strategic account leadership for the growth of Talon by meeting clients’ objectives, and maintaining profitability
  • Lead and motivate the team; foster an environment of accountability; capitalize on growth and learning by acknowledging and building upon employee strengths
  • Engage clients, obtaining yearly plans and receiving high engagement levels through requests and RFPs
  • Develop POVs and provide recommendations to clients for large scale projects; Provide direction to the planning team on contributions
  • Ensure client objectives and timelines are met by planning team
  • Manage relationship with Agency and/or Direct Clients as well as strong relationships with partners and vendors
  • Identify areas of opportunity for improved operational efficiency and maximize technology for the benefit of the company and clients
  • Anticipate client needs by identifying areas of growth in products / services / capabilities; provide leadership through implementation, concept to completion
  • Implement consistencies across teams by building gold standards with the Director

WORKING HABITS AND CORE SKILLS_

  • Bilingual, French and English written and verbal communication proficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and translate client objectives to the team.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create visually appealing and effective presentations.
  • Firm understanding of media planning, advertising principles, and digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, sales and business development skills
  • Ability to lead effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain a track record of success while ensuring seamless process and flow.
  • Familiarity with media research tools, analytics platforms, or data visualization software is a plus.
